Artist Statement:
Every moment is ripe with beauty.
My work is an attempt to capture one slice at a time.
One of the great powers of photography is the ability to unveil
beauty lying just beneath the surface. The more I pay attention, the more I am in awe of the obvious, and how quickly the mundane can become resonant beauty.
About Matthew
I am a photographer based in Hendersonville, NC. While the majority of my work has been for private and residential commission, I also work regularly with editorial & commercial clients to realize their photographic vision.
My style and attitude is natural and straight-forward. I strive to create strong and unique images that stand on their own.
I also co-own the WNC Acupuncture clinic with my lovely and fearless wife Kristine Preiser, and we live in Hendersonville with our two year old daughter and eight year old Shanti-dog.
